jacket with real fur trim: resurrection in liverpool
james dean t-shirt: souverneer store in New York
vintage black Calvin Klein jeans: vintage fair in liverpool
black pumps: burton
i really like this look so i wear it alot. this jacket isn't vintage but i think it has a real 70's look because of the pockets. the pockets are really useful and i love the real fur trim which is great for winter. this James Dean top says rebel at the top and the picture is also it little dots but when seen from far away it looks like a quality photo. these jeans can also be worn with anything and the pumps can be worn for the day or a night out.

1980's day look
80's black leather jacket: my dad's
80's shirt: 69A liverpool
grey trousers: charity shop in birmingham
i really like this look so i use it alot. i don't think this looks old fashioned at all i think it looks quite retro but modern at the same time. these trousers are really good with anything black and can also be worn on a night out with a pair of pumps.
i love this leather jacket because it is really 80's but looks funky and the same time. i wear this jacket alot so i mix it with different outfits such as with slogan t-shirts. this shirt is really 80's too and it looks really retro. for a night out i would wear it with a pair of black jeans and pumps. overall i love this 80's look.
1970's disco night look
70's shirt: 69A liverpool
70's flares: manchester cow vintage store
platforms: lili bizar fancy dress shop in liverpool
this look looks really good for a fancy dress party and it can also be worn normally because it doesn't look that old fashioned.
i probly wouldn't wear the platforms for a normal look so i would wear brown or black loafers instead.
because i really like the emroidery and colour on this shirt i would proably wear it open with a t-shirt with a slogan and a pair of black jeans.

1970's day look
leather jacket: camden market London. green flares: Manchester Cow vintage store. 70's platform shoes lili bizar fancy dress shop liverpool. 70's rings: vintage fair in liverpool
i really like this leather jacket because everything about is 70's the only problem is you need to wear something modern with it so it has a modern update.
i think this look is great for a fancy dress party as today i think men in platform shoes is more for a drag queen. i like these flares as well as they are really comfy but i wouldn't wear them alot. for a more modern look i useually wear this with a red jumper and a pair of really faded jeans, and also with a pair of brown loafers.

Dylon Fabric dye
in the january sales i went to topman and bought this top which i'v wanted for ages. the problem was they only had it in red so i decided to dye it navy blue.
the usual problem when dyeing is the stitching because polyester thread is usualy used and ployester thread won't dye, and this is what has happened here. i think it looks ok though with the navy colour as it is a dark colour. but i am happy with how it has turned out and i would probly wear this top on a night out as i think it looks real funky.
as u might know when blue is is mixed with red it turns purple so u need to use the Dylon pre dye before (pictured above) you dye your garment. first you need to disolve the pre dye in hot water and then just put in the machine when it is disolved make sure you wear clothes you don't care about because it will change the colour. the pre dye basicly takes all the dye out so it can be dyed any colour similar to bleaching hair. after it was in the machine it looked like this.
when dyeing it blue you put all the dye in the machine also with salt any salt will do. then put the garment in on a 40 cycle wash, remember with this dye you can useually dye fabrics that are cotton linin or viscose, polyester or nylon fabrics will not dye so be careful with fabric mixes such as cotton and ployester (remember to read the label to see what it is.
